It's spring break for us here. My hubby took vacation, my daughter is home from college, and I just finished my mini-semester at college. So, I'm going to relax and enjoy my family 🙂 No plans right now, but we are thinking about driving to Austin, TX.

We have a few things in common. 1) I love the song Beneath Your Beautiful! 2) Thunderstorms (and the smell of rain) are my most favorite thing! and 3)I'm always picking things up with my toes. However, since I broke my big toe this task has become a little difficult. 🙂

I am so coveting that road map shirt! Problem is that I would fall asleep. And I LOVE the lockers. Wouldn't it be fun just to have a big mudroom to be able to decorate like that? Or a cottage on the beach? I'm going with the beach. Thanks for sharing your 5! Have a great weekend!

Just wanted to comment about the candy apples. I recently saw a recipe for these sinfully decadant candy apples and I said to my kiddos, "Oooooh, let's make these." They all looked at me like I was crazy. I couldn't believe it. What's not to love? Apples, caramel, chocolate, smoked sea salt. Anyway…I decided candy/caramel apples must be one of those things that are a novelty (i.e. Cracker Jack, Red Vines, Necco Wafers, etc…)I still love them.

Oh my goodness I didn't know Emily Giffin came out with a new book! I will definitely be heading to the bookstore this weekend to pick it up! I love her!

We are in love with beach camping here in So Cal. It is a different experience and more like a tropical vaca than Camping.

We loved the idea of the instant tent, but returned it after setting it up. The bottom at the closure does not close very securely, which does not work well for a little girl who is scared to death of flies, let alone any creepy crawlies that could get in from the opening. :/

Emily Giffin is my FAVORITE author. Didn't know she had a new book out. Going to get it today to read when the kids go back to school!!

I absolutely loved the movie Brave. Strangely, my children thought it was boring. Go figure. Saw it three times.

I'll have to check out tha MIB song! I still think of Jamie when I hear the song that she mentioned on her months ago….
