Today was such a fun crafting day! We were able to pull out the new MINC and try some more projects. You know how we love to hang banners so, we thought we should come up with something to hang this time of the year. It’s already pretty toasty here in Las Vegas and the sun is really shining! So…the word SHINE was on the brain and we got to work!
We ended up going with just a white cardstock and a few different colors of foil but we also really loved how the gold looked on the pattern scrapbook paper. Kraft paper and foil looks fun too!
Here’s what you need:
- Cardstock or scrapbook paper
- “SHINE” download HERE and HERE (print on a laser printer or printed then, copied on a copy machine)
- MINC
- Foil
- Twine
- Small hole punch
All you need to do is cut and send those babies through the MINC. Use a small hole punch for the upper corners and run some twine through the holes. It’s really that simple! And while there are many methods of applying foil to a project, we feel none are as simple and consistent as the Minc.
Don’t have a MINC yet? That’s okay! Feel free to use the download anyways. It’s super cute in black and white too! If you are looking into buying a Minc they are available at Hobby Lobby and Jo-Ann, as well as a number of local stores and online shops including Amazon HERE.
