we know that if you read our blog,
you know by now how much we’ve enjoyed getting to know all the wonderful things the silhouette can do!

we know that there are a lot of you out there that want your very own!!

well today might be your lucky day!
because in honor of our very first birthday,
the good people at silhouette are giving one of you your very own SILHOUETTE SD!!
how cool is that?

  98. I'm looking forward to doing e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g! I've been saving every penny I can find (and selling things that we no longer need) in order to fund one. I'm probably most excited about the vinyl options, but I want to make t-shirts, stencils, cut outs for scrapbooking/card making….*sigh* the possibilities are endless. I SO want one!

  100. We just moved into a new house from owning to renting (BOO!) I have so many emty walls that need some vinyl decals since we can't paint. I need to make the space mine. I'd also go crazy for designing t-shirts for the kiddos! Thanks for the great giveaway and Happy birthday!

  103. Umm I think I would donate my Cricut first since it looks like the silhouette could do just about EVERYTHING! And then I would make fun wooden decor plaques, letters for baby onesies for all of my pregnant friends, fabric embellishments for all of my pillow, and I'm pretty sure the list goes on and on!!

  107. The list is endless of what I would do with this little gem. I am building a new home, and therefore, I have a lot of decorating in my future. In addition, I have a 4 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. I think it would be great to add to their existing clothes to give them something that not every other kiddo is going to be wearing.

  161. I have loved everything on your blog that you have done with the silhouette. I am a new and young blogger and would love to be able to use a silhouette.
    I think i am mostly interested in the silhouette because it can cut fabric and I have been cutting thousands of circles out by hand to make bows to donate to the humanitarian center they put them in packages to send to the kids who have nothing!!   216. I would make something special for my mom, she's had a hard year. Her dad (my grandpa) passed away last September and her mom (my grandma) just passed away today. They adopted her when she was two months old. she's in need of something uplifting.

  681. What would I do with my Silhouette? I'm starting a home day care and I'd LOVE to use some vinyl to help with some organization in the playroom and kids room on their toy bins. I'd love to use it to identify what's in the kids dresser drawers. I'd love to use it to make heat transfers so I could make the boys some custom shirts. Oh my gosh… seriously, the possibilities are ENDLESS! I was a foster-adoptive mom (hopefully again soon when our house is done being fixed), and have a bio son, and hope to have another bio child soon as well. We have been so strapped for cash as I'm trying to save here and there to get one of these machines but at this point $200 is just so hard to let go of.   1181. First of all, I've enjoyed following you ever since I ran across you last Fall. I'm always checking to see what new inspirations you have come up with. Love it!

    You introduced the Silouette to me and I've fallen in love with all the creative things you've come up with. My cousins have the Cricut and they've showed me all the cartridges that they have to keep up with. Too much to keep up with, so I love the idea of software instead. I would love to have a silouette of my own. I've been getting ready for my little boy's second birthday and man a silouette would have helped me out. I've been hand cutting the labels, picks for the cupcakes, dot garland, banners. It took me two months to get all the cutting done. I've also gotten into the paper globe topiaries for gifts and parties for people. Again, I've had to hand cut all the pieces out. I know a silouette would save me alot of time and add new inspiration to my crafting. Thank you so much for this giveaway.

  1210. Here are the two main things I want to do with my silhouette: An unforgetable bithday party for my 3y.o. daugther. Besides of creating the decoration, I'll use the machine to create t-shirts based on the children drawings, I bet they will love it and we can make them at the party.
    Another thing is to implement the products we've been thinking about to generate income for the NGO I work for (www.institutoelos.org). In the list there are tote bags and t-shirts. The graphics are already done!

  1987. Oh, the many uses of a silhouette….where does one start? I know for a fact it would become very useful in our home. With 2 crafty daughters and a military life, how can we not need this? We can add pizzaz to the bare walls that we can't paint with vinyl decor, make cool pictures to hang on the plain white walls that we can't paint! Decorate t-shirts to go with the skirts I sew for the girls….the list could go on and on. I hope we win this so we can add fun to our new house in California. This will be our 6th move in 10 years, what a great welcome home gift it would be!!!!

I covet the one my friend has and have been so lucky she shares it with me on projects. I have a special needs child who has Downs Syndrome and I am on the board of an organization called B.U.D.S. (Bringing Up Downs Syndrome) and every year we do a BUDDY WALK to raise money for B.U.D.S. and cause awareness.   3141. I am DYING to have a new silhouette!!! My husband bought me one of the first one's that came out and I loved it!! I used it all the time for a year. Then our computer died and we got a new one. The old silhouette and the new computer did not like each other (not compatible) no matter how hard I tried I couldn't make them work together. I sadly gave it to someone that would love it and could use it with their computer. I used it a lot for my bulletin boards in my classroom, but honestly, with all the cool projects I see on the web, I am dying to try new projects (i.e. that Celebrate banner is awesome!).
