Find new Christmas Planner printables for 2017 HERE.
Are you ready to get this holiday season rolling? I sure am! We always seem to kick off Christmastime with a brand spanking new planner. Jamie’s been designing us new printables for about 6-7 years now and it just wouldn’t be the same without them. We know a lot of you look forward to making them as much as we do and we can’t even tell you how happy that makes us!
Here’s a list of the supplies we used this year: [affiliate links included]
- Composition Notebook
- Adhesive – we use glue dots
- Christmas Planner Printables – download HERE
- 6×9 Envelopes – white or the orange ones with the clasp
- Stapler
- Pencil
- 3″ Circle Punch
- 3 1/2″ Scallop Circle Punch
- Scissors and Paper Trimmer
- White Cardstock
- Scrapbook paper – we used a bunch of random papers this year. The cute car print came from the collection Here Comes Santa Claus from Doodlebug.
We tend to make them a little differently each year, but the main How-To can be found HERE and HERE.
As you can see from the look of ours that there is no wrong way of doing it. We each made ours differently from each other. It’s all in what you like.
Here’s a few pictures of the inside details. The tabs are blank so you can fill them in with a sharpie however you’d like.
The envelopes on the inside covers are my favorite part. No more searching for coupons or receipts… they are all right in your planner!!
Grab your friends and have a planner party… it’s a great project that only takes an hour or so to make. So there’s plenty of time to chat and snack on treats.
Hope you have a great time making yours!
Here are a few more awesome Christmas projects you can find on Eighteen25:

For the tabs – are you stapling a few pages together so that it stays? Or just stapling to one page?
And thank you for this post, I’m so excited to make these!
Jodie and Jen says
Yea Wendy… we put 5-6 sheets of paper together so it’s a bit stronger. 🙂 Have fun making yours!!
Wendy says
Thank you very much!
Alissa says
Hi!! Do you only use glue dots to secure the paper to the front? Thanks!
Jodie and Jen says
We use the glue dots for everything that we need glued on the planners. 🙂 so the papers on the front and back the tag on the front. The envelopes inside and the “coupons” tags. Just not the TABS. We staple those on. Hope that helps. 🙂

Out of curiosity, where did you use “The Big Day” circle? It’s so cute, but not sure where is the best way to use it .
Jodie and Jen says
We usually use it on the calendar that we glue in our planner!! 🙂 We just glue it right on December 25th.

I’m so excited to get mine put together and to get started! Thanks for the inspiration. I’m also including tags for “Service” and “DD” for my December Daily journaling! I can’t wait to have everything where I can find it when I need to. Thanks again!!!

Where did you print calendar from?
Jodie and Jen says
We just googled free printable calendar and found one we liked. If you click on the past year’s instructions there’s a link to the website we used. 🙂

I would love to have this with a 2017 date. I would make these for my entire family as Christmas Gifts. Think about that for next year, or mid-year so we can get ready for 2017. Love the idea! Thank you
Michelle says
Could I change the year to 2017 or is it set for 2016 only?
Jodie and Jen says
It’s set only for 2016 but we will have a new one that comes out for 2017 in November. 🙂
Sandee Spencer says
Please Please Please get these ready for us in October. I’ve begun my Chritmas preparations and really really want to get your darling planner for this year made.
Jodie and Jen says
We are working on them, but they won’t be ready until the first of November. Sorry. 🙁
