the “to do” frame {free download}

Apr122010 posted by Jamie 38 Comments

from a boring thrift store find…
to a cheerful wipe board to do list…
perfect for those mothers and teachers in your life.
materials:
  • 8×10 frame (jennifer found this one at a thrift store for $1.50 – you can also pick up a pretty cheap one at wal-mart)
  • spray paint
  • spray primer
  • sandpaper
  • “things to do” sheet – download here
how to:
-give the whole frame a light sanding just to rough up the surface.
-wipe clean and give it a good coat of primer.
-spray paint your frame and once dry, sand the edges lightly.
-insert the to do list.
-then just use dry erase markers to write down all of the things you need to get done.

this is easily an under $5 gift!!

Genius! I kept trying to figure out how you made the white board. It's the glass! I get it. We right notes on our windows and mirrors all the time. My husband even wrote one across my computer screen once. It was sweet, but I was mad! Great idea!

Very cute! Just FYI–the Crayola Window Markers work even better than dry erase ones, because they're formulated to work on glass.

Kistina, can you purchase the crayola window markers at Michael's or A.C. Moore? Are they fine point? I need a larger frame then what is shown in this project so I can write in space given. How do you remove the writing or if you need to change something? Windex?
