Thanks so much for posting my balloon pocket card! I guest posted about it for Mother's Day but did not even rethink to repost it for Father's Day! I am so happy you shared it!

Those are all such lovely ideas. I am going to be mailing birthday invitations on Monday and they are going to be in a bottle. They are for my sons pirate party. I actually just found out this past Monday that you could ship a bottle. I was crazy excited. I think I am going to put some coloring pages in there to excite the other boys for the party.

When I was in college, my friends and I would send each other crazy mail over breaks. We really liked to send those HUGE bouncy balls (you know the ones you can get for like $5 at Target in a huge bin). They always loved having to hold it still to weigh it. You just write your letter on the outside of it and leave room for a stamp. My mom also once mailed me a large plastic Easter egg with a letter written on the outside. Fun stuff. Good ideas and a good reminder!!

So cute! I've also seen a plastic "bouncy ball" mailed with "have a ball on your birthday!" written on it. Can't remember. I think that was on giverslog too. Love it!

I'm giddy with excitement about the postcard poster idea. My little boy is turning three soon and gets such a kick out of collecting mail. I am going to organise this for him as he will get such a kick out of receiving mail during his birthday week. What an awesome idea that I am going to make a family tradition for my three children.

Actually, I love all of the ideas in this awesome post. Thank you for sharing this gooness!

I got the balloon invitation idea from here! It was great, after some research I did order custom printed balloons so they were professionally created. I had to look around cause most places wont do small quanitities but I found http://www.hullaballooprinting.com that did an AMAZING job for my invitations! Everyone Loved Them!
