we want to share some super easy halloween goodies with you today.
(these are actually easy enough that the kids could help out too!)
first up:
chocolate ghost pops
you’ll need:
pretzels
white candy melts
mini chocolate chips
plastic baggie or squeeze bottle
wax or parchment paper

all you need to do is:
-
following the directions on the bag, melt your chocolate
-
cover a baking sheet with wax paper and lay out your pretzels
-
put your melted chocolate in the squeeze bottle or a baggie with the corner snipped
-
trace an outline of a ghost shape and then fill it in with chocolate
-
give your ghost friend some chocolate chip eyes
-
stick the cookie sheet in the freezer
-
it only takes about 10-15 minutes until your ghosts are ready!
so cute and yummy! 🙂
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
next up:
rice krispies mummies
you’ll need:
white candy melts
boxed rice krispies (the perfect shape)
candy eyeballs
popsicle sticks
plastic baggie (snip the end larger than normal about 1/4″)
wax or parchment paper
all you need to do is:
- following the directions on the bag, melt your chocolate
- unwrap your rice krispies treats and stick the popsicle sticks in
- dip your treats into the chocolate and then set on your baking sheet that’s been covered in wax paper
- stick them in the freezer for about 5 minutes
- using a little chocolate as the “glue” stick your eyeballs on
- then with your chocolate in your baggie – “wrap your mummy”
- stick them in the freezer so they can set up for about 10-15 minutes
then enjoy.
now when our little taste testers got home from school they filled us in on a little secret…. they were a bit too chocolaty. so… maybe skip dipping them? or just dip the front sides and not the entire thing.
i really don’t know if there is such a thing as…. too chocolaty though??
chocolate overload or not… you have to admit… they are pretty cute!! 🙂
How neat! I may have to make some of these with my boys this weekend! Thank you for sharing!
LOVE fun no-bake ideas! I just used the Kellogg's Rice Krispies Treats too and made Frankenstein. 🙂
Such a cute idea, those mummies are adorable! and delicious looking! : ) Thanks for sharing!
