Boy do I love the 24 days of December that lead up to Christmas. They are always a bit crazy, but I love the traditions and get-togethers and family time that those days are filled with. It’s also exciting to count down those 24 days to the big day. I’m a sucker when it comes to Christmas countdowns. I have 3 all planned out for this year. I may even like them more than my kids, but that’s okay. 🙂
Today I’ve gathered A LOT of fun ideas. From simple ideas to amazing ideas that will take a little bit more work. I’ve even gathered a few Christmas Countdowns that you can grab off of Amazon if you just don’t have time to make something this year. Whichever one you pick will be fun and save you from being asked 100 times… how many days until Christmas? haha.

This is my favorite Countdown that I’ve used for about 5 years now. I love filling 24 brown paper bags with a little goodie for each day. I love that the pouches in the Shoe Organizer are big enough to fill with something for all of my kids.

Now that I have older high schoolers, I’m doing the count down in the above weblink and will continue when it’s just me, because giving and serving brings me happiness!

Love these ideas especially the wooden tree one! Another fun and unusual advent countdown idea would be to do a Random Act of Kindness each day instead of getting a gift or chocolate. We need kindness this Christmas more than ever!
