Hello there! I’m Ginger from Ginger Snap Crafts, and I am so excited to be back for another Spooktacular September! Eek! I love seeing everyone’s spooky Halloween ideas each year, & I love sharing my ideas, too! This year I’m sharing these adorable Popsicle Stick Spiders that would be THE perfect craft for your kiddos to make this year. Best of all, it only takes a few minutes to put together & you probably already have all the supplies on hand. Let’s get started! 🙂
For this project you will need:
- small popsicle sticks
- black faux suede (or you could just use black cardstock)
- vinyl craft cutter or a 1 1/2 circle punch
- googly eyes
- glue
- black craft paint
- foam brush
First, you will paint your popsicle sticks black. Then let them dry. While they are drying cut out your circles. Tip: If you are doing this craft with a large group of kiddos, you might want to pre-cut the circles beforehand.
Then you’ll glue your popsicle sticks together. (Check out the picture below!) You’ll want 4 “legs” on each side. 😉
Next you will glue on your circle for the body of the spider.
Then you’ll add two googly eyes. Now, isn’t that the cutest spider ever? 🙂
This would make a great craft to make in the classroom at school, at a church activity & for your kiddos to make at home! Hang a few from strings & put on a cotton spider web, & then you’ll have cute Halloween decorations as well!

Thanks so much for having me over!
