Hi Eighteen25 readers, I’m Tauni, from Snap Creativity. I am so excited to be back for another Spooktacular September! I look forward to seeing all of the great Halloween DIY project Ideas Jen + Jodie put together for us each year. Today I will be sharing my “Along Came a Spider” Halloween gift tags.
I was a bit stumped when it came to the theme for our annual Halloween party, until I came across these adorable treat bags in the Dollar Spot at Target. (If you tell me that you don’t pause in that section of the store every time you enter, I will not believe you!)
Aren’t they adorable? I knew that I needed to incorporate them into our party plans stat!
I wanted to incorporate a little gift tag and created my Along Came a Spider tags (grab the free printable here).
What really makes these tags special is the tiny bit of extra effort I put into them.
I never make a tag without rounding the corners…It completely transforms a tag and takes it from something printed off any old printer to something a bit more professional.
I love to use We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper – it does a great job.
I also added a bit of glitter to my tags. It’s hard to see in the photos, but it really looks GREAT in person.
I used a simple glitter pen to keep the product where I wanted…nobody wants glitter where it doesn’t belong!
A little bit of ribbon finishes off the tag.
It’s such a simple thing, but it makes such a cute party favor or classroom gift, don’t you think?!
