Hi friends! This is Linda from Craftaholics Anonymous® and I’m happy to be here to share with you an easy Halloween decoration you can make. Its really easy and looks amazing! {You can find the tutorial for the cute scrappy fabric Halloween garland here.}
Michaels now makes these awesome half plastic pumpkins that come with a hanger {so brilliant!} and so this project is a breeze to make!
Supplies:
- 11×14 Unfinished Wood Frame
- 1/2 Plastic Pumpkin
- Black Spray paint
- Hot Glue Gun
- 11.5″ x 14.5″ Piece of Halloween Fabric
- Scissors
1. First spray paint your wood frame black. Allow to dry thoroughly.
2. After frame is dry, flip over and hot glue the fabric to the back of the frame so that it covers the opening.
3. Trim off any excess fabric so that it doesn’t show when you flip the frame back around.
4. Hang the frame with fabric on the wall. Then determine where you want the pumpkin in the opening and hammer a small nail or brad through the fabric and hang pumpkin.
Umm, SO easy! And it looks totally awesome, right??! I’m really loving it! It will go well with my Halloween decor when I put it up in a few weeks.
