Halloween Fringed Treat Bags

Sep102015 posted by Jodie and Jen 1 Comment

spooktacular title 2015Hi friends!  I’m Rebecca, you can find me at The Crafted Sparrow.  I’m super excited to be back again sharing another Halloween idea here on Eighteen25, I just love Jodie & Jen!  This year I’m sharing these fun Fringed Halloween Treat Bags.

Fringed Halloween Treat BagsWhile there was nothing wrong with the original polka-dotted treat bags, I mean they are black and white and adorable already…but they needed a little extra something to make them really fun!

Supplies:

Paper treat bags from Petite Party Studio
Crepe paper streamers – black, white, and lime green
Orange washi tape
Tape runner
Scissors
Halloween Free Printable Tags, found HERE

Fringed Halloween Treat BagsStart by cutting a length of your crepe paper streamer, fold it in half, and then in half again.

Using your scissors cut your fringe in the crepe paper streamers.  You will need to cut enough for each color to have two layers per bag.  The black will need x4 layers since you will have two rows of black.

Fringed Halloween Treat BagsContinue to layer the lime green, white, and the second row of black on top of each other with the tape runner.

Fringed Halloween Treat BagsYou can either add a strip of orange cardstock or washi tape to the top of the layers.

Then add the Halloween Free Printable Tags found HERE to the front of your bag using a tape runner or glue stick.  There are 3 fun designs to choose from.

Fringed Halloween Treat BagsThese turned out so cute, don’t you think?  Perfect for Halloween party favors, class treats, or a fun gift for a teacher.

Fringed Halloween Treat BagsI have tons of Halloween Tutorials over at The Crafted Sparrow.  Be sure to check out some of these fun ideas like my Black & White Halloween Wreath, Tribal Inspired Pumpkins, or this DIY Halloween Shirt.
