Halloween Decorated Candles

Hello, eighteen25 readers! I’m Crystal from A Pumpkin & A Princess where I share recipes, crafts, and holiday ideas. I’m so happy to be back again this year. I look forward to Spooktacular September every year and I’m always amazed by all the creative ideas. Halloween happens to be my favorite holiday to decorate for! I like to find little ways to change things up, like covering flameless candles that I use around the house with Halloween fabric. This candle craft can be made with any Halloween fabric or lace and is easy to remove once the holiday has passed.

Halloween Candles

Supplies:

  • Flameless candles
  • Bat fabric
  • Pins or hot glue
  • Scissorscandle craft

Step one: measure and cut your fabric to fit around the candle. I’m using flameless candles form Costco that have a realistic feel to them (they’re also vanilla scented). You could also use real candles that you don’t plan to light.

However since my candles have a realistic candle feel, meaning they have a waxy surface, it’s difficult for the hot glue to adhere to the candle. I ended up using small straight pins from my sewing stash to keep the fabric in place. At this point you can trim off any excess fabric around the candle.
