[EKSuccess] Monster Munchies

Sep242012 posted by Jodie 4 Comments

We recently received a bunch of EKSuccess Tools to play with…
(we were so excited to see some of our all-time favorite products and to try out some new ones)
(don’t you just love the new happy packaging and the fun QR codes to scan with your smartphone to learn more about ways to create with the products. AND you can find these products at select wal-mart stores.)
Since it’s Spooktacular September in these neck of the woods,
we gathered a few of these fabulous products and made fun treats for passing out to friends, classmates or little ghosts and goblins…
Here’s What You’ll Need

  The EKSuccess Tools used:
• 3D-Dots
• Herma permanent adhesive
• medium scallop circle punch

• scallop decorative scissors
• small precision scissors
• bone folder
• ruler

  Other supplies used:
• double-sided patterned paper
• black cardstock
• monster munchies tags (download HERE)
• colored googly eyes

  Not pictured:
• some monster-ish munchies (we used gummy worms)
• clear treat bags 3.75″ x 6″
• stapler

And here’s how we make them

• Cut your patterned paper into 4×6 rectangles (you can get 6 out of a 12×12 sheet)
• Cut out the monster munchies tags
• Punch out some black scallop circles
• Score a line 1.5″ from the top using the bone folder and ruler, then fold over

• Using the Herma adhesive, attach the googly eyes to the scallop circles

• Cut across the top with the scallop scissors

• Place some munchies into the bags and staple to the inside of your paper

• Adhere the tags, covering the staples
• Place a Pop Dot under the googly eye and attach to the tag

These are going to make perfect little treats for all the little monsters in your life. 🙂
