I always give my kids' teachers gift cards to a bookstore, coffee shop, or Target. I figure that their teachers get enough candles and knick-knacks and this way they can treat themselves to something they want but wouldn't normally spend on themselves.

I made TEACHER CLOCKS for my daughter's teacher this year and she LOVED it! I then went over to my girlfriend's house and we made four for her kids' teachers…all to rave reviews.

I got an idea from Chico and Jo's to have my kindergartener write "from the desk of mrs…" and doodle a little picture in the bottom corner, make copies, and then use padding glue to make it into a little notepad. I hope she likes it!

Love your ideas. We buy canvas bags at Walmart and iron on pictures of the kids. Then we fill the bags with supplies like tissues, hand sanitizers, and dry erase markers.

I decorated small clear paint cans, filled it with candy with a hidden gift card. Home Depot for the male teacher and Panera for the female. They loved them.

The Teacher Gift Box is the best idea I've seen in a long time. How innovative…and delicious too!
