Black and White Note Cards & Envelope Liners

We are so happy to have Lauren McKinsey here with us today!

Does pretty paper make your heart go pitter patter?
Do note cards make you giddy?
Do you have an inventory of paper for all occasions?
Do you love to send hand written letters?
If you answered yes to any of the questions above then you are going to fall head over heels in love with the {FREE} note cards and envelope liners I am sharing with you today.
The past few letters that I have received from my mom have included the prettiest envelope liners.  My mom has always loved adding that extra special touch and her envelope liners did just that.  You can purchase envelope liner templates from boutiques such as Paper Source, or you can make your own with a few simple supplies.
Supplies needed:
  • Black and white striped paper {you may also use pretty scrapbook paper, wrapping paper or design your own paper for the envelope inserts}
  • Paper cutter
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Double sided tape or a glue stick
  • Envelopes {A2 size}
  • Note cards {download here}
Print your black and white paper and cut the paper in half.  {5.5 inches}  You will be able to make two envelope liners using one sheet of paper.
Since the envelopes needed for the note cards are 5 3/4 inches wide you will cut the paper 5 1/2 inches wide.
You will then trace the outline of the top of the envelope on the striped paper.
Using the marks you created as a guide, cut the paper to size with a pair of scissors.

Score the paper and slide the liner into the envelope right below the glue seal.

Using double sided tape or a glue stick attach the envelope liner to the envelope.
Doesn’t the envelope liner just add that touch of sophistication?
The first set of note cards have a simple HELLO in gorgeous font across the front.  The second set says “a little note from me to you.”
You will find two sets of note cards in the printable collection.
The first set says “hello” and the second set says “a little note from me to you.”
Wouldn’t these pretty note cards with lined envelopes make a wonderful gift?
I hope that you love these pretty cards & envelope liners as much as I do.  I made my own set and will be making more for holiday gifts!
