Hey there! I’m excited to be guest posting today here on the awesome blog that is eighteen25. Allow me to introduce myself…ahem…
I’m Jeanna of Jeanna Hayes Studios. Like many of you, I’m a wife and mama. I’m married to an amazing man who watches Downton Abbey with me (isn’t that hot?), and live with a 3 and 1 year old who would eat cereal for every meal if I let them. My house is perfectly clean, I make gourmet meals every night, and I own a Porsche. Ok, ok, so that’s not really true. Most days there are more toys on the floor than in the bin, we live off Jimmy Johns’ sandwiches during the busy wedding season, and I drive a minivan. Yes, I just admitted to driving a minivan on a social media setting, but hey – life is good (and I actually love that thing!).
I also happen to be a full time photographer in Las Vegas. I photograph weddings, families, and my true passion and latest venture is YOUR DAY IN A NEW WAY – a new kind of session that satisfies my sentimental side and focuses on capturing couples in love. I’ve always been into the arts and was a Graphic Design/Illustration major in college. Early on I possessed a love for painting and drawing which actually led me to my current canvas about 6 years ago… photographs!
I feel so fortunate that I get to do what I love most as career and am thrilled to have been asked to share a few tips each month with my eighteen25 friends. I will be covering a lot of basics, so those of you who don’t quite know how to work that camera your husband got you for Christmas (hey – that’s where I started, too!), this will be for YOU. I’ll see you next month where I will be starting with things you need to know before you even take that first shot. Can’t wait!
. . . . . .
We are so extremely excited to have Jeanna here with us for the next few months sharing photography tips and knowledge. She’s one of the best here in Las Vegas and besides being an amazing photographer she has a heart of gold and we are so lucky to be able to call her our friend! We hope you are as excited as we are to be able to learn from one of the best!!

Thanks, ladies! You are too kind and I'm excited to hopefully help people take better pictures. I know it took a lot of practice for me, so if I can help even just one person… I'll be a happy girl!
