Spring Gardening with Home Depot’s Garden Club

Apr12013 posted by Jodie and Jen 2 Comments

I love spring.
I love the warmer weather.
I love that we can eat outside on our back patio and enjoy our backyard.
I love how little flowers are slowly starting to bloom all around the yard.
I love how the weather right now is perfect for getting out and working on outdoor projects.
It’s a beautiful time of the year here in the desert.

I’m ready to get out and get some things done before it gets too hot here in Vegas. I was excited to see the 8 new project ideas on The Home Depot Garden Club website. They have my mind spinning with ideas for upcoming projects. (and maybe 1 or 2 honey-do projects) I especially love the look of these envirotiles. They can go directly onto our concrete slab out back and I can just picture how amazing they would look. They would help make our patio feel like that outdoor living space I’ve been wanting.

You will love the benefits you receive when you join the world’s largest garden community and become a member of The Home Depot Garden Club. Besides the step by step projects, you’ll also get access to their gardening experts, how-to videos and a sneak peek on new products. As a member you will also get over $300 in email exclusive savings each year.

One of my favorite parts of being a Garden Club member is having access to the monthly to-do lists. All I have to do is locate which zone I live in, click on the appropriate box and it takes me to a detailed list of what I could be doing to best care for my lawn, trees & shrubs, flowers and vegetables during that month.

I’m looking forward to adding some color to my patio and yard. I also hope to get the kids involved in a couple fun backyard projects.

We are excited to be participating in The Home Depot Spring DIY program. We’ll be sharing some fun projects during the next couple months and we’re ready to get to work! We hope you’ll follow along.

Shut the front door! You can lay those directly onto concrete? I know a lot of people who would love to do this little project. It looks amazing in the demo video. Thanks for sharing!
