One of our favorite summer desserts to make is a jello poke cake. They are a light and cool treat that the whole family enjoys. We decided to try a different version of the cake we usually make, this time we made a yummy Red Velvet Poke Cake!
INGREDIENTS
• Red Velvet Cake Mix (and ingredients on box)
• 2 – 3.4 oz.Jell-O Cheesecake Instant Pudding packages
• 4 cups milk
• 8 oz. whipped topping
• mini chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
• Preheat oven to 350°
• Prepare cake mix according to the directions on package and bake in a 9×13 pan until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
• Let cake cool completely. Then using the end of a wooden or plastic spoon, poke several holes all over the cake.
• Whisk together the pudding and the milk, then pour over the cake, making sure to fill the holes.
• Place the cake in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes to let the pudding set.
• Spread the whipped topping evenly over the top and then sprinkle with the mini chocolate chips.
then dish it up and enjoy!

I heard of your site. but couldn't get past the first page thanks to your offensive and degrading ads. I am surprised that three mothers would allow such offensive advertising on their blog. I hope you, this is not the message you are giving your kids and will reconsider.
Would you mind emailing us and letting us know what kind of ad you saw.
Our ads have been set to exclude all offensive ads and websites, but we've had a few complaints lately so we are trying to figure out what is going on. Thanks for your help.

I saw a Kellogg's ad. That cake looks de-lish!
Mixing up the pudding now! Making this for my 13 year old. He is over-the-moon for red velvet AND cheesecake. I'll let ya know what he thinks!
Cake looks great, will have to try this.
I could not find the kind of pudding can I use chocolate?
You can use any flavor of pudding… it’ll just change the cake up a bit, but i still think it will taste good. 🙂
I made this for my son’s birthday yesterday! It was a huge hit!! (Used the exact same ingredients) I’m not usually a red velvet cake fan but this was awesome! Thank you!
Yay! So glad you liked it! 🙂
