I just went back to the chalkboard because I've been wanting to buy one of the pieces of wood at the craft store but saw where you sharpened your piece of chalk. Umm hello, why did I not that of that before??? haha! something SO simple & obvious, ha! Def doing that next time!!!
another good tip… wipe your chalkboard with a damp rag or get your chalk a little damp. the chalk will write so much smoother and look so good when it dries.
