.
we’ve shared this before.. but it’s pretty special to us… so we think it’s worth sharing again.
three years ago we started our book of
thanks.
thanks.
every Thanksgiving
everyone takes a turn writing what they are grateful for in it.

i especially like
what the kids have to add to the book.

we also make sure we gather together, put the
camera on a timer and snap a quick shot of us all.

i love having the picture because every year
there are different people who join us for our Thanksgiving dinner. so it’s fun
to look back and see our past guests.

looking for other ways so show what you’re thankful for?
I love this! What a sweet memory to look back on over the years. I'll have to add it to my list of traditions I want to start with my kids 🙂

What a great idea! I need to start this tradition this year. Thanks!
Your book brings the true meaning of the season to the forefront of our minds. It was a post worth repeating!
Wow what an incredible idea. I wish we had started this years ago before I lost my Gma this year. But I would love to start this now!
i'm going to start this too this year – thank you
Oh I just love this and 2 out of 4 of our children are old enough to write in it themselves! I think we will have to make one this year too! Thanks so much for the inspiration!
What a great treasure to have of each year. I might have to steal this idea. Thanks for sharing.

Such a great idea, I am glad you shared this again. We are so going to start this as a family tradition. What a great keepsake.
What a wonderful idea! It would be so fun to see the special artwork and writings as the years go by and the kids grow 🙂 Thanks for sharing with us!
Thanks again Jen for allowing us to share your Book of Thanks on our blog and your kind reply to our e-mail. Here is the link again: http://www.groundedandsurrounded.com/pinspiration-turkey-day/ Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! -Sammi and Sarah
Thanks for sharing this special idea. I made one for my family to start using this year, and am mostly excited for the kids contributions ;). (I love their art.) If you want to see it, it's on my blog, MakeItScrappin. (I give you guys credit for the idea down at the bottom!) Also, family Thanksgiving traditions? We always have a puzzle. 🙂 It's always tucked away in a quieter room where you can go if you need to step away from the craziness with our loud, large family. 🙂
Hi! I found this again!! Yay! I’d like to start this tradition… :> What does the front of your book look like (the link is broken :>) . Just wondering how to find a blank book….
What a great idea! This will definitely be a new tradition in our house!
I included this idea in a recent blog post about Thanksgiving Traditions. I made sure to credit you ladies with the idea. You can check it out here: http://www.historicdad.com/2016/11/19/6-thanksgiving-traditions-to-start-with-your-family-this-year/
Thanks for the great post!
