Michaels Dream Tree 2013

Nov12013 posted by Jodie and Jen 26 Comments

We were so excited to be asked to participate again in the Michaels Dream Tree Challenge!
We had so much fun last year… there was no way we’d turn down the opportunity to do it again.

This year we decided to go for a natural/wood/white/glitter theme and I absolutely LOVE it.

Here’s a little rundown of how we decorated our tree.
– First we started out with about 20 sprigs of white berries and placed them throughout the tree.
– Then we took the brown ribbon and randomly wrapped it around the branches.
– Next we placed our giant (and beautiful) pinecones.
– We hung our garland next.
– Then we hung all our ornaments…. starting with the largest working down to the smallest size.
– Plug in the lights and then stand back and admire it’s beauty.

Next Friday we’ll be sharing how we made some of our ornaments and more about the basket we put our tree in!

The "TIS THE SEASON" letters are the large cardboard letters that Michaels sales for a dollar strung together? Love this idea!
