I preheat his bed! That way it's warm and cozy just like my arms! I just turn the heating pad on low and it's nice and toasty!

It's actually a quilt that I bought at TJ Max or Marshall's a year or so ago. I LOVE it!
Swaddling has always worked for my little guys. Then when they are out of that stage, its a familiar blanket & a little song/story before putting them down.
Books, songs, prayer, and feeding (if it is time). If that doesn't work- lullaby station on Pandora.
