we totally copied this idea from martha stewart. and it’s something fun the kids could make too.
what you’ll need:
- plastic box (ours are from hobby lobby)
- cardstock/patterned paper
- adhesive
- dad’s favorite snack
- template from martha found HERE
we printed the template onto white cardstock, cut it out and then used it to trace the tie onto red and blue cardstock (or onto patterned paper). then we taped it just under the lid, all the way around. once that was done, we filled the box up with chex mix.
