Cinnamon Fall Leaf Lollipops
Author: Alanna from Two Sisters and a Story
Recipe type: Dessert
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Granulated Sugar
- ⅔ Cup Light Corn Syrup
- ¾ Cup Water
- 1 Dram (1tsp.) LorAnn Gourmet Cinnamon flavoring
- Leaf baking sprinkles (found mine at Micheal's)
- Candy Sucker Molds (can be found at most craft stores)
Instructions
- Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water into a 2 quart saucepans. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring mixture to a boil without stirring.
- While the mixture is boiling, spray molds lightly with oil and add sprinkles into the molds.
- Remove from heat at 300 degrees. After boiling action ceases stir in Cinnamon flavoring in the saucepan. AVOID rising steam when stirring especially with cinnamon extract... it can irritate your eyes. Pour syrup into lightly oiled candy molds or onto greased cookie sheet and score with knife to form bite size pieces. Set aside a small portion of candy. When cool you can dust with powder sugar (optional). Store in an air tight container. Will keep for 2 weeks
