Sometimes it’s nice to do something other than turkey for your holiday meal. Cordon Bleu is one of our favorite alternatives. I thought I’d play around with a time tested recipe and add pesto to the mix. It’s amazing!!!
INGREDIENTS:
12 Chicken tenderloins
1 cup Pesto
24 slices of Canadian bacon or thinly sliced ham
12 slices of thinly sliced swiss cheese
1 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 pkg. Good Seasons garlic & herb dressing mix
Layer 1: chicken
Layer 2: pesto
Layer 3: ham
Layer 4: swiss cheese
5. Roll it up and secure it with toothpicks
6. Sprinkle with bread crumb mixture {bread crumbs, garlic & herb salad dressing mix, and parmesan cheese}
7. Bake for 25 minutes at *400
