how cute and simple is this?
jodie is responsible for this colorful assortment of potions.
just add food coloring to some water, freehand potions on a tag, add some cute ribbon
and you’re done.
(wire basket and bottles were a gift from pottery barn)

I have been scouting and scavenging "potion bottles" for a couple months now. My family is looking at me funny as if I am becoming a witch for real.
I am in love with this idea and need to find creative uses for all my unusual (and truly ordinary)bottles once Halloween is over.

I'm loving your cake stand. Where did you get it?

I love this! I just can't wait to get to the stage of life where I can decorate like this! LOL As it is now, my kids would either drink or spill the potions…LOL

I'm wondering if that will leave stains on those pretty bottles?

Just a thought try adding a different color of water marbles to each jar instead of food coloring. It looks slimey and fun. I did one bigger jar and used green water marbles and then had purple vinyl letters made that said embalming juice to put on the outside of the jar. The grandkids loved it.
