Today’s Guest: Tatertots and Jello

Sep12011 posted by Jamie 35 Comments

It’s September 1st… and time to get this Spook-taculicious party started!!
I think it’s tradition now that we start the fun off with the amazing Jen from Tatertots and Jello…

Chevron Halloween Eye Chart Pillow

Hello eighteen25 readers!
I’m Jen from Tatertots and Jello and I’m so THRILLED to be here!

jennifer i heart faces profile
I am a Halloween fanatic.
I get so excited when Fall hits and I can start thinking about Halloween. So of course I am so excited to participate in the eighteen25 Halloween Spooktacular again this year.

I have loved seeing eye chart projects lately and I thought it would be so fun to make one for Halloween!! I made a Halloween Eye Chart Pillow for this spooky season, and then, just for fun I made a printable to share with YOU!
To make the pillow, this is what I did:
5 steps
  1. I created the eye chart in my Silhouette Studio program.
  2. I flipped the lettering so that it was backward.
  3. I printed out the lettering on Heat Transfer Paper.
  4. I ironed the lettering onto white canvas.
  5. I cut out the chevron material – 1 inch longer in width and length than the pillow form.
  6. I pinned the lettered fabric to the chevron front panel and used a zig zag stitch to sew the pillow together.

And now I have a fun little pillow for this Spooky Season!!

I made a printable to share with you!
All you need to do is click on the download button and you can print off a copy for your home.
And I included a little chevron just for fun!! You can choose between Orange or Grey.

Here’s the orange version:

And here’s the grey version:

Thanks for letting me stop by!

. . . . . . . . . . . .

Thanks for participating again this year Jen!!
We always love having you and we are in love with your project! The tough part will be deciding which to make… the pillow or the print?? Maybe both!!
Head over and visit Jen at Tatertots and Jello….
And you don’t want to miss her favorite fall/halloween projects.

Did I do something wrong? When I tried to download the Halloween eye chart print, I was told to download FoxTab-PDF Creator. I saved the print to my desktop, but I don't know how to print it with this program.

Taylor P — Are you opening the printable with Adobe? That's the best program to use to open the file. If it still won't work, send me an email at jennifer@tatertotsandjello.com and I will email you the file 🙂

Ugh, I thought I had it figured out to save as a jpeg, but it only saved the background, the top T and the two lines at the bottom. Is there any way to save the entire thing as a jpeg? Thanks so much.
