gift idea

May252011 posted by Jamie 25 Comments

here’s a fun gift idea for those book lover friends of yours.
using the bookmarks we made on monday and the library cards from last week….
you can whip up a gift of fantastic-ness (it’s not a word but it fits, right?)
wrap a new book with kraft paper…
place library cards into pocket…
add a paper doily,
ribbon and a cabochon bookmark to the front
and you’re ready to make a reader happy.
 in the cutest way possible.

Need some ideas for great books:
The Hunger Games trilogy
The Help
These Is My Words
Sarah’s Key
Water for Elephants
The Star Garden
Sarah’s Quilt
The Forgotten Garden
The Guernsey Literary Potato Peel Pie Society

I love these ideas, so so cute.
I read "The Help" and just finished "Sarah's Key" while on vacation. Both were very powerful, but very good books. I would recommend them to anyone.

I'd also add the Alchemist to your book list. It's a wonderful book for new graduates that are starting on their adventure into adulthood.
