Today’s Guests: My Sister’s Suitcase

Feb292012 posted by Jamie 25 Comments

Hi! We’re Nat and Holly from My Sister’s Suitcase, and we are beyond excited to be guests today at eighteen25. We are two sisters {in a long-distance crafting relationship} who love to design, create and party!

In our family, we have a long-running tradition when it comes to St. Patrick’s Day. And that is, green pancakes. Green milk. Basically adding a little green food coloring to anything we can get our hands on! So when we saw that St. Patty’s was on a Saturday this year, we knew it was an easy excuse for a full-out “Top O’ the Mornin” Breakfast par-tay!

Here’s a little invitation you can customize and give to a few of your luckiest friends. {Or your kids the night before the big day.}

You can add text to this JPEG using your computer and print at home, or send it off to Costco or wherever you get photos developed and you won’t even have to cut it out! {easy peasy}
We’ve also included a PDF that you can print and hand-write the information on.
What really makes this breakfast fun {for the kids especially} are these printable tags to go with all the  pancake toppings and other delicious breakfast foods. The tags can be left as squares, or punched with a 3″ punch. {We know you eighteen25 followers have one of those!} You can use a smaller punch if you have one, too – you just won’t see as much of the green background. Tie them on, attach to a skewer, wrap around a bottle…get creative!

Breakfast Invitation {PDF}
This is how we used our tags:

And here is the list of ingredients to match-up with the tags:

  • St. Patty’s Pancakes – green pancakes
  • Shamrock Syrup – maple syrup
  • Pinch-proof Potion – green milk
  • Clouds in a bottle – whipped cream (in a can)
  • Chocolate O’ Hersheys – chocolate syrup
  • Magic clover dust – powdered sugar or green sprinkles
  • Lucky leprachaun teeth – white chocolate chips
  • Lucky Charms – Lucky Charms cereal
  • Pot O’ Gold eggs – scrambled eggs
  • Rainbow on a stick – fruit kabobs

We hope you will join us in hosting a “Top O’ the Mornin” pancake party for your loved ones this year…
{And don’t forget to wear green!}

If you’d like to see some of our most popular projects, check out what’s in My Sister’s Suitcase today!
Thanks for having us!
