journals + pen pal kits

Jun132012 posted by Jamie 7 Comments

this summer, we’re going to have the kiddos help us keep a journal of all the fun outings we take and crafts we make. whether it’s a colorful drawing of a certain event by one of the younger kids or a detailed story of the day by one of the older kids, i’m sure it’s going to be a journal we’ll love looking back through in years to come.

I LOVE the pen pal kit! I'm a homeschooling mom and my 5 year olds writing work is to write to her pen pal all summer. They each write a letter about every other week and it has been so much fun! I'm going to go find a box like that one for her to keep her letters in!

such a cute idea! my parents had us write journals when they took us to Europe as kids and saved them for us. i received my Europe journal after i graduated from college. it was fun to re-live those memories again!

Thanks for the idea. We are talking about journaling for a church activity. Will be adding this post to the list

I had a pen pal when I was a kid and I loved it! These ideas were all so cute! P.s. my daughters name is Piper too…whenever I see or hear someone else that has that name I always think oh how cute! Then I remember that's her name and I love it all over again:)!

Journals and pen pal kits are such a great idea to keep the kids involved. They'll love that and feel so much more special.
