Merry Little Elf Feet

So excited to have Kristy from The Diary of Dave’s Wife back today!

Tis the season for cute and fun sweets and treats! I love making fun things to take to neighbors, friends, teachers, and some of my husbands co-workers.  Last year I shared these Oreo Elf Feet  on my blog and still can’t believe how big of a hit they were! Plus, the ladies in my husband’s office LOVED them. Apparently I am not the only one who thinks elf feet are cute! 

So this year,  since I can’t give the same gift twice, I made up a new set of Elf Feet that I think you will all Love just as much as I do! 

I can’t wait to deliver these to the staff at my kids school.  

Here is what you are going to need to make these:

• Cardstock ( I used red and green)

• Elf Shorts, Shoes & Socks Pattern download Here

• Candy Tubes, You can find them here.

• Candy to fill the tubes, I used M & M’s.

• Buttons (or other embellishments)

• Ribbon or Decorative Trim for Suspenders (I found mine at Hobby Lobby)

• Mini Poms for the shoes

• White Chalk Marker to draw the stitching on the pants.

• Hot Glue or Glue Dots

To start,  fill your candy tubes with red & green candies and top with the lid.

Next cut out the Elf Shorts, feet, and socks, using this pattern.

Since I was only making a handful of these,   I simply hand cut the paper pieces, instead of using an electronic cutter.  

Next I used a Permanent Chalk Marker to make the stitches on the shorts.

Embellish with buttons, and attach your ribbon using hot glue. Then hot glue the shoes and socks to the bottom of the candy tubes and simply attach your legs to the shorts.

And if you don’t have the heart to give these away, they look adorable hanging on the Christmas Tree too!
