some of you asked about the pom pom garland in the photo below.
it was super simple to make, here’s the how-to…
step one… pick out your pom poms
(i got these from hobby lobby – but i’ve seen them at michaels before and sometimes in target’s dollar section too)
step two… arrange your pom poms in the pattern you like
step three… thread a needle and pull the thread through to the length you want your garland
step four… thread them onto the string leaving spaces in between or pushing them close together
(they’ll stay in place)
(they’ll stay in place)
step five… hang (i just tape the string up where no one can see)
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
here’s another one i made with a bag of cheap plastic eggs from target and large white pom poms from hobby lobby…
there are little holes in the tops and bottoms of the eggs which make the threading oh-so-easy.

I picked up the Spring Subway Art yesterday (for my sister, SIL and myself) plus some birthday banners. I was just thinking it was time to take down the shamrock garland I still have on the mantel. I think pom-pom garland would be the perfect thing. Thanks!

I will be filing this away for Fourth of July. I have left over poms from my sons first birthday, and this garland will put them to good use.

That is AWESOME…I think I am going to make a little pom pom garland for our little ones nursery. Thanks for sharing both ideas! The eggs would be super easy to do – I bet my 3 yr. old would love to help too (of course with close supervision with the needle).
