2010 Photos

Jan32011 posted by Jamie 27 Comments

I’m thinking of starting a new tradition in our family. Setting aside a night at the beginning of the year for all of us to sit and watch a disc containing photos from the past year.
There are so many photos on my computer that will never be printed or blogged and I don’t want them to just sit on the hard drive. In Photoshop, I created a slide show of the photos I wanted to use. Then burned them onto a CD.
(four of them, to be exact, i had a lot of photos)
If you would like to add some photo discs to your collection, I’ve designed a simple little cover that can be downloaded HERE.

Now, we can pop some popcorn and sit back and relax as we watch 2010 flash before our eyes… again.

I make a slide show for my kids family birthday party every year. I put it to some music and just let it loop over and over. This way no one turns on the game or the race and everyone can see how much they have grown.

Oh thank you thank you thank you! I'm working on scanning in old family photos from both sides of our family. This will be perfect for giving the photos "back" to my mom/MIL.

I did Becky Higgins' Project Life last year and loved that more of my photos were printed and enjoyed. My kid loves looking through the album. But this is a great idea as well and allows for more than just a photo or two a day.

Great Idea!! I do a version of this every year for my husband as a Christmas present since I'm a SAHM. That way he get so see some of the pics I take during the day of the boys. Plus we always end up pulling out a other years as well as we reflect on how far we've come. Great keepsake!! 😀

This is a fantastic idea! I am SO doing this with my family. One of my biggest pet peeves is that we don't look at our photos enough… this will be a special way to do it. Thanks for the inspiration.

Awesome idea!! Even better in my book that it is all done and pretty!! I have tried to make slideshows with music in my adobe pre, they are always blurry. Can I ask what did you do? I would love to know, I get so frustrated. Thank you for your inspiration and happy new year!

What a great idea to put all of a year's photos on one disc. I have mine backed up but a nice disc would be great too.
