Sweet Summer Gift Ideas

Jul192017 posted by Rachel 1 Comment

Hi friends! Rachel from Fawn here with you today. With all the summer get togethers, BBQs and parties you’re bound to be invited to this season, why not take a sweet summer gift for your hosts? These delightful candy filled jars are a fun and thoughtful gift for your favorite hosts.

Putting these gifts together are quick, easy and inexpensive. Things we all love, right?! I used the Simple Stories Summer Days collection journaling cards and cut them out to use as the tags.

Using my Cricut machine, I cut out a cute little pineapple and sun and attached them to the tags with bakers twine.

I then filled the jars with some yummy candy!  I love giving salt water taffy since it reminds me so much of summertime when I was a kid…plus, it has all those fun and bright summer colors!  And that’s it! A cute and thoughtful hostess gift for your friends.

Rachel believes in creating occasions to celebrate rather than waiting for them. Unbirthdays and the changing of the season are just a few of her favorite holidays. As a work from home mom her day job also includes multiple dress-up changes, elaborate role playing and excessive tea parties. In her free time she can be found scouring thrift shops for inspiration, hiking with her husband and 5 year old daughter and, of course, brainstorming her next party.

Great idea! I don’t like showing up as a guest with empty hands, this seems like the perfect solution. Thanks for the idea!
