We love a good handprint project. Don’t you? They are a perfect way to put a little love into a gift or project. So, we thought we needed a handprint bunny gift and I bet it’s going to make grandma and her teacher smile.
SUPPLIES: [affiliate links are included in this post]
- Paper Gift Bags (we found these cute ones at Michaels)
- White and Pink Acrylic Paint
- Googly Eyes
- Pink pom pom
- Twine or ribbon
- Pink Blush and a Q-tip
- Paint Brush
- Sharpie
- Some Bunny Loves You Tags – Download yours HERE
Get your bag ready and some wipes for clean up. Then, paint that cute little hand with some white paint. Try to minimize the thumb by rounding out the palm area.
Bunny handprints are a bit tricky so I had to make sure to hold the two fingers apart while we pressed down. She was able to get it on both tries so, it is possible (and even funny apparently).
We used pink blush and a Q-tip to add a little color to the ears and cheeks. Then, glued on the googly eyes, a pom pom nose and a twine bow. If you want some whiskers, which we did, use a fine point Sharpie to draw them on. Next you’ll want to download, print and trim your Some Bunny Loves You tags. Tie them on with some twine or ribbon and you are done. The cutest gift bags ever!!
Now, fill it up with a cute succulent or some of your recipient’s favorite treats. You could make something yummy or buy it.
